Danny was signed In February 2004 to give us some defensive cover. Only 19, he had played 2 games for Wanderers and 11 on loan at Notts County.
Danny made his debut in the 3-0 defeat of Mansfield and looked very comfortable. His loan was extended to the end of the season but after Greg Heald was signed in mid-March he became a bit of a spare part and spent most of the remainder of the season on the bench.
Danny started the following season at Blackpool but picked up an injury on his debut and didn’t get another chance. He signed for Carlisle in December 2004 and has been with them ever since becoming team captain in 2008. At the time of writing he has scored 16 goals in 204 appearances.
