371 Clive Moyo-Modise
Position : Forward
Played : 2005-06 to 2006-07
Appearances : 28
Goals : 1
Clive was one of Keith Hill's youth team boys who got an early first team chance after scoring regularly for the reserves.
You could see why he'd got his chance as he had the speed of a gazelle. Unfortunately he didn't have the ability to go with it, something that became more obvious each time he came on (he only started 2 games). His solitary goal was the last in the 5-0 hammering of Darlington and probably wouldn't have come his way in any other game. When Keith Hill took over as manager he didn't get a look in, Hilly actually referring to his "irritation" at Clive's lack of progress. Clive was sent out to Mossley for the rest of the 2006-07 season and despite an impressive 7 goals in 13 games there he was released in the summer.
Clive had South African parents and went over there to play for Bidvest Wits for a season during which he had a call-up to train with the national side. He returned to England in 2008 and was supposed to be signing for Stockport but it never happened. He re-signed for Mossley then moved to Altrincham in February 2010. He left a month later after 4 substitute appearances and is currently with Ashton United.
