Glenn's  was  a  strange  signing , an  experienced  Conference  professional  from  the  south  of  England; you  wonder  how  he  came  to  appear  on  our  radar. He  started  out  with  Spurs  but  dropped  into  non-league  with  Yeovil  then  played  for  Redbridge  and  Thurrock  before  arriving  at  Grays. He  had  a  decent  goalscoring  record  for  a  winger.

Glenn  only  started  one  game  for  us  and  looked  no  better  than  average  , a  slightly  built  lad  with  no  great  pace  or  outstanding  skill.

Surprisingly  he  then  signed  for   Brentford  and  had  a  great  season  becoming  their  top  scorer  with  14  goals  which  total  unfortunately  included  a  screamer  for  a  late  equaliser  at  Spotland. As  the  guy  in  front  of  me  said  indignantly  " He  did  nothing  when  he  was  here  ! "  Glenn  fell  out  of  favour  the  following  season  and  was  released  as  Brentford  won  promotion. He  returned  to  Grays  then  switched  to  AFC  Wimbledon  halfway  through  the  season. He  moved  to  Barnet  last  summer  and  made  10  appearances  scoring  once  but  was  released  in  January  2011  and  is  currently  with  Braintree  Town.
