401 Tom Bates
Position : Midfield
Played : 2006-07
Appearances : 2
Goals : 0
Probably the most obscure player of the Hillcroft era (at least among those who made it on to the pitch ) Tom was signed from Leamington. He had one previous League appearance for Coventry in 2003 to his name after which he'd played for Ards in Ireland.
He was given a couple of substitute appearances in the last 2 games of the season. By far the most memorable thing about his brief stay was getting attacked by an invading Peterborough moron after the final whistle at London Road.
Tom returned to Leamington and has since played for Atherstone, Coventry Sphinx and currently Nuneaton Town.
Tom concludes the 2006-07 season.
