Kelvin was signed in September to cover for the injured Simon Ramsden. Kelvin had come through the ranks at Oldham , making his debut in 2004. In 2006 he was released then reprieved upon a change of manager.
Kelvin made his debut at Barnet and reportedly played very well. Although some fans seemed to like him I wasn’t so keen. His positional play was OK but he seemed allergic to tackling which encouraged opponents to attack him.
He returned to Oldham and got a regular place for a while at left back. However he gradually faded from the first team picture and in the season just gone made a solitary substitute appearance plus 4 on loan at Chesterfield. He was released in January 2011 and joined Shrewsbury. He only played one game and just two days ago they confirmed that he would be leaving the club.
