391 Kelvin Ethuhu
Position : Winger
Played : 2006-07 ( on loan from Manchester City )
Appearances : 4
Goals : 2
Keith Hill’s first new signing was this 18-year old starlet from City to replace William Mocquet on the right. Kelvin was the younger brother of Fulham midfielder Dickson and eligible to play for England or Nigeria. He was making his League debut for us when he came on at Wycombe.
Understandably Kelvin looked a bit raw but he had the speed to worry defences and scored two good goals. Unfortunately his time was curtailed by a knee injury following a bad challenge at Walsall and he returned to City for treatment.
Kelvin made his debut for City the following September and made 6 appearances scoring once that season plus 4 on loan at Leicester. He made four more appearances for City the following season but in 2009-10 was loaned to Cardiff for the season. His progress there was interrupted by injuries and most of his 19 appearances were off the bench though he did play in the play-off final at Wembley. In the close season he was arrested for his part in an assault outside a nightclub in Manchester and he wasn’t included in City’s Premier League squad for the season just gone. City released him from his contract in March this year when he was sentenced to prison for 8 months.
